I am not in the book publishing business, and so I have deligated the task of order fulfilment to Amazon Books (CreateSpace) because they are the experts in this area.

I live in Toronto, Canada and although I am the publishing author a Customs Duty is applied on top of Shipping & Handling Fees for my own personal orders.  I do not know how to avoid the Customs Duty, however the package is delivered in very good weather resistant packaging by DHL Express.  If you live in other parts of the world the courier company may be different, and I think it depends on which courier company Amazon Books (CreateSpace) uses for your country.
